Alison Krauss
The beginning of the national fame came for bluegrass musician Alison Krauss in 1990 when at age 19, she took home from the Grammy Awards with the trophy for Best Bluegrass Album. It was an accomplishment and not just because of her age, but also because the album which was a part of her success, I've Got That Old Feeling, was actually the third album in the collection of Krauss. Too Late To Cry is her debut album. It was released in Champaign Illinois in the year she was at the age of 16. at the age of 14, she signed an agreement to sign a contract with Rounder Records - one of the most prestigious folk music labels. Krauss's achievements at such a young age, as much as her skill, has been consistently supported by the fact that she has remained faithful to bluegrass - one of the country's oldest and least well-known musical genres. Krauss at one time a teenager phenom, had developed into an accomplished musician and producer.
