Sarah Jessica Parker (born Sarah Jessica Parker) is an American producer, actress and model. Her name was first recognized for her performance as Carrie Bradshaw in the popular TV series 'Sex and the City'. Seven Emmy Awards were won by the show that aired for a period of six years on HBO. Parker won two Emmys across a variety of areas, for her performance in the TV show. She reprised her role in the film "Sex and the City," that was a follow-up to the television series. Commercially, it was a huge popular. It was followed by the sequel 'Sex & the City 2,' which again turned out to be an economic success. Since her debut, she has also appeared in several other films, such as 'Honeymoon in Vegas, the film 'Failure to Launch', 'Escape from Planet Earth' and 'All Roads Lead To Rome'. Parker was recently on TV on the HBO show 'Divorce' which aired for two seasons. She's launched various brands which include the perfume "Lovely" and a footwear line called the SJP collection.
