
Suzanne Pleshette, born January 31, 1937, passed away on January 19 in 2008. She was an American film voice actress, TV and voice actor. Pleshette began her acting career in the theatre and appeared in films in late 1950s. Later, she was prominent in film roles like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (11). Then, she appeared in different television productions, and was often acting as a guest. She played Emily Hartley in The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 through 1978 and received a number of Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City on the 31st of January of 1937. Her parents were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was an artist, dancer, and choreographer, who performed under the stage name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was the stage director of the Paramount Theater in Manhattan as well as the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
